INFO-POINTS

 

Three Information Points were created in Timisoara, in Moldova Noua and in Bor.

The scope of the Information Points is to provide to the interested persons information about the concrete problems of the ecological status of the polluted areas through mining waste, the challenge of the project and remediation measures.

The interested persons that will visit the Information Points will receive promotional materials about the project, will be asked to fill-up questionnaires and will discuss with our specialists various studies about the environmental problems.

Every Information Point will deliver, on request, information concerning the situation of pollution in the regions with mining activities from the cross border areas, the project activities.

During the discussion with our specialist, the interested persons that will visit our Information Point will receive information about the progress of the project implementation, about the methods that are used to evaluate the pollution of air, water and soil, remediation methods, training events and materials, and results that are obtained during project implementation.

The Information Points will complement the information that interested users can find on the web portal of the project and especially in the KNOWLEDGE BASE section.

The Information Point in Timisoara is situated in the building of the Advanced Environmental Research Laboratories, 4A Oituz Street, Timisoara. It is open for public every working day in the interval 11.00-15.00*. It is served by members of the project team and volunteers.

The information point in Bor is situated in the building of Institute of Mining and Metallurgy, Zeleni bulevar 35, 19210 Bor, and it is open for public every working day from 7.00 to 15.00*. It is served by the members of the project team.

The information point in Moldova Nouă is hosted by Moldova Nouă City Hall, 26 Nicolae Balcescu Street and is open for the public from Monday to Friday between 10.00 – 14.00 (excepting national holidays)*. It is served mainly by volunteers and one person from the project team.

* During the restrictions regarding the activities carried out in groups of more than 3 persons, during the emergency period due to the SARS-Cov-2 pandemic, the face-to-face activities will be replaced by online activities.

 

The interested peoples that will not find the expected answer to his / her questions, searching the KNOWLEDGE BASE and other TABs and PAGEs of website of the project, may address his / her specific question filling up the special form. The questions can be written in any of the following languages: English (preferred language), Serbian or Romanian. Our specialists will answer to your questions as soon as possible.
