Joint Development	The preparation of the project has been made together. A Romanian group went to Serbia for an initial meeting in order to establish the objectives and the role of each team within the project. After this meeting the groups have kept contact by e-mail and telephone and the Serbian team has come to Timisoara to finish the application and sign the project. For the project implementation we have planned some meetings and scientific events during which we have the opportunity to discuss and analyze the progress of the project and to decide what to do further in order to develop it.

Joint Implementation	During the project implementation we make common complementary research activities (evaluation of the state of the pollution, analysis of the wastewater, analysis of flora and fauna of the polluted areas, comparison between these parameters for the two countries, tests of the proposed methods to treat the wastewater), we organize common scientific events, we communicate and publish in common our scientific results. It implies to meet each other periodically and so the proposed research activities and events take place in Serbia and Romania, respectively.

Joint Staffing	During the project implementation, there are meetings between the two teams and also scientific events, not to mention that the organization of all activities needs a good collaboration and communication between the staff. A permanent contact between the two teams is realized by e-mail, special software, telephone, and air mail when it is necessary to write papers. It is important to mention that when Serbian experts come in Romania for some meetings or events, they are also invited to make presentations in their field of expertise for our staff and students and similarly when Romanian experts go to Serbia. This assures the transfer of expertise between the two teams and also to the students that enlarge their scientific horizon.

Joint Financing	The budget of the project is quite equilibrated, with a little higher part for Romanian team, because here we perform more research activities and we organize the most part of the meetings and events. Each team assures the co-finance of the project and the financial expenses for students participating to research activities and scientific events.
